New Job, New Clothes

I am so happy to announce that I am starting a new job this Monday as an Assistant Buyer at Burlington (if you can't tell by that first picture of pure happiness). One of my goals was to start the new year with a new job and I was able to seal the deal in December. I am thrilled to have a fresh start, meet new people and begin a career in the off price industry. I look for any excuse to buy new clothes and I was totally not going to miss out on this opportunity of a new work wardrobe. Although I'm not too sure of the dress code, I am aware that it is business casual and the requirements change depending on your boss. I wanted to pick up a few pieces that can be transitional from work to play. I previously bought "work clothes" and would feel as though I wasted my money on them because they look to corporate-ish and that is totally not my style. I am working on buying pieces that work great for work but can also be styled for my off days. I scored some AMAZING pieces at Primark during a shopping visit last week. I bought a gorgeous blue over coat for $34 (pictures coming soon) and the waist tie pants seen above for ONLY $14!!!! The pants were a steal. They can't be bought online but I did by them rather recent so I hope you can find them. Primark doesn't have a plus size department but these pants go up to a size 16. I love that Primark constantly gets new styles frequently. I am definitely going to visit in a few more weeks and see if I can get anymore bargains.
